29th Central Asian International Mining Exploration & Mining Equipment Exhibition

The 24th Kazakhstan International Exhibition MiningWorld Central Asia 2018 will be held within the framework of the World Mining Congress in Astana.

The largest international exhibition of mining and metallurgical complex - MiningWorld Central Asia in 2018 will be held in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, in the framework of the 25th Anniversary of World Mining Congress 2018.

From June 19 to 21, the event will bring together leading experts and specialists, and the best Kazakhstan and world manufacturers will demonstrate effective technologies, modern equipment and machinery for development and modernization of mining industry.

At the site of MiningWorld Central Asia 2018 250 companies-participants from 24 countries of the world will meet at the same time. This number includes such leading representatives of the industry as Aramine, Atlas Copco, CFT Group, Dressta, MetsoMinerals, Mclanahan, FLSMidth, Sandvik Mining and Construction, Thrane, Outotec, Thyssenkrupp, Vist Group and many others.

The following countries will be represented by national stands: Australia, Austria (for the first time it will demonstrate its national stand at the exhibition), Great Britain, Canada, China, Norway, Poland, Finland, France, Czech Republic.

The main feature of MiningWorld Central Asia this year is exposition of Kazakhstan leading mining and processing enterprises, such as the Aktyubinsk Copper Company, KazMinerals, ERG, Kazakhmys, Kazzinc, which also have Partners status of the event.

The organizers of the exhibition note that integration of exhibition with such large and influential event as the World Mining Congress will make benefit to the event, and one-time change of location in 2018 will go down in the history of the exhibition as a positive experience.

Moreover, indicators of domestic MMC market in 2017 demonstrated significant growth. For example, the volume of mining industry grew by 9.3%, processing industry - by 5.1%, extraction of non-ferrous metals and iron ore increased by 8.2% and 6.9%, respectively, and metallurgy sector showed positive dynamics, increasing output in ferrous metallurgy by 6.6% and by 5.5% - in nonferrous.

Traditionally, the organizers and partners of the events are Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca, ITE Group Plc (Great Britain), with the official support of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources, the Association of Mining and Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC National Mining Company Tau-Ken Samruk, JSC Kazgeology, Akimat of Astana and diplomatic missions of the participating countries.
