29th Central Asian International Mining Exploration & Mining Equipment Exhibition

MINING AND METALS CENTRAL ASIA 2021: THE KEY TO THE PRODUCTIVITY AND EFFICIENCY OF THE MINING & METALS INDUSTRY LIES IN THE APPLICATION OF THE LATEST TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS

As early as this week, on 29 September, Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty will be hosting two major industry events: the 26th Central Asian International Exhibition of Mining Equipment, Ore and Mineral Mining and Processing - Mining and Metals Central Asia 2021, and the 17th Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Road and Industrial Construction and Communal Machinery - Kazcomak 2021.

The main thrust of Mining and Metals Central Asia will be the discussion of integrated approaches to solving existing problems in the sector, and the application of technological problems to increase productivity and efficiency of operations. This year's exhibition brings together leading manufacturers and distributors of equipment, technologies and services for the mining and processing industry, such as Alpha Safety, Distritech, Kazprom Avtomatika, Kulan Oil, thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions Kazakhstan, BelKazKomplektService, KAMAZ Trade Company, Composite NGO, Sandvik Mining & Construction Kazakhstan Ltd, Sever Minerals, SPETS-AVTO and others.

A special emphasis of visitors is drawn to the content of the business programme of the exhibition.  Round tables, presentations and thematic seminars will gather the audience from representatives of major domestic and foreign MMC companies and industry associations.

The first Exhibition Day will be kicked off with a seminar, during which representatives of ORIENTAL Engineering Company will share technical and technological solutions for dewatering of non-ferrous and ferrous metal concentrates and cakes from hydro-metallurgical facilities.

Tech Garden Autonomous Cluster Fund has prepared a series of master classes, united by the common topic “Efficient implementation of Industry 4.0 Elements in MMC at the expense of state support instruments”. The experts will tell the participants of the session about the advantages of Tech Garden when introducing innovations at the expense of 1% deduction for R&D for subsoil users, share the successful cases of Artificial Intelligence deployment at the MMC facilities and the experience in using Blockchain and Big Data technologies at the industrial enterprises. Kuat Musabekov, Deputy Director General of Tech Garden, will explain the opportunities that the technological platform Smart Industry Management Platform (SIMP) opens for industrial enterprises and innovative companies, and Timur Khasanov, Development Director, will announce the launch of the industry 4.0 Online Academy. Representatives of Kazgeologiya National Geological Exploration Company JSC, Kazatomprom NAC JSC, KAZ Minerals, and other market players have already registered to take part in the session. The business programme of the first day of the exhibition will be rounded off with a technical presentation on risks in investment projects by Sever Minerals, Mining & Metals Central Asia’s Registration Partner.

On September 30, NORSERVIS, FLSMIDTH LLP, ELEMENT GROUP and Sever Minerals will hold their seminars. The choice of topics to be presented is entirely determined by the current challenges facing the industry. MMC sector specialists will have an opportunity to participate in the seminar by NORSERVICE on “Normet Underground Mining Equipment”. Undoubtedly, the use of the latest digital solutions is a driver for further development of the industry and subsequent transformations. Speakers from FLSMIDTH LLP will talk about the implementation of technological processes in MMC and issues of ore dressing. Representatives of ELEMENT GROUP within their seminar will tell how to make the right choice of spare parts when looking for alternative technical solutions. Sever Minerals will showcase practical integrated solutions for the mining industry as part of its outdoor stand
