Countries purchasing Kazakhstan’s coal listed
In January-August 2019, Kazakhstan exported 15.4 million tonnes of coal for $295.7 million. In real terms, shipments increased by 3.8% compared to the same period last year, and in money terms by 29.7%.
The largest deliveries were in Russia. This country bought 13.4 million tonnes of solid fuel for $142.1 million.
Switzerland acquired 773.3 thousand tonnes with an increase of 2.5 times, Ukraine at 463.5 thousand tonnes with an increase of 3.2 times, Cyprus at 389.8 thousand tonnes, while an increase of 5.2 times.
In addition, deliveries were made to Kyrgyzstan at 240.5 thousand tonnes, to Belarus at 122.9 thousand tonnes, to Uzbekistan at 33 thousand tonnes, to Poland at 11.3 thousand tonnes) and to other countries.
