Performance in the mining industry of Kazakhstan evaluated

The highest figure in 2018 was demonstrated by enterprises for the production of chrome concentrates. According to the statistics committee, the average annual capacity of this industry amounted to 5 million tonnes, and they were loaded at 99.6%.

Gas condensate production enterprises worked at 98.4% of capacity, lead-zinc ore at 91.2%, copper concentrates at 88.5%, and copper ore at 79.9%.

In addition, oil-producing enterprises with an average annual capacity of 99.9 million tonnes are loaded at only 77.4%.

Less than half of the capacity is used by manufacturers of sand at 40.7%, gravel at 38.1%, granite at 23.1%, and phosphate raw materials at 20%.
